Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 27 July 2026

Short version: cancel whenever you like, in two clicks, and keep what you've paid for until the period ends. If Sky isn't for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full. Renewals aren't refundable — but you can always cancel before one.

This policy forms part of Sky's Terms of Service. Payments are collected by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record.

Try before you buy. Sky's free plan gives you 50 credits every month with no card and no time limit. We'd rather you used it until you're sure than paid and asked for it back.

1. Cancelling your subscription

Open the Sky dashboard, click Manage billing in the bottom-left account panel, and choose Cancel subscription. That opens the billing portal run by Paddle, our payment provider. You don't need to email us or ask permission.

What happens next:

2. Refunds

First payment — 14 days, no questions

If you're within 14 days of your first payment on a new subscription and Sky isn't what you needed, email hi@skal.ai and we will refund that payment in full. You don't have to justify it.

Renewals

Renewal payments are not refundable. You can cancel at any time before a renewal, cancelling takes two clicks, and we never charge an amount you weren't shown in advance — so a renewal is a charge you had the whole period to prevent.

One exception, at our discretion: if an annual renewal caught you out, you contact us within 14 days of the charge, and you haven't used the plan since it renewed, we'll usually refund it. Ask — we read every request.

The cases in "Always refunded" below apply to renewals too, and are not discretionary.

Always refunded

Where we may decline

We may decline a refund where an account has been used heavily across the period being claimed for, where the request falls well outside the windows above, or where an account was suspended for breaching our Terms of Service. We'll always explain our reasoning, and we'll never hide behind this paragraph to refuse something reasonable.

3. How to request a refund

  1. Email hi@skal.ai from the address on your Sky account.
  2. Tell us which charge you mean — the date and amount, or the invoice from your receipt email — and one line about what went wrong, if anything did.
  3. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to approve or explain within 5.

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who process payments for Sky as merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Once Paddle issues it, your bank typically takes 3–10 business days to show it. You can also raise a billing query directly with Paddle at paddle.net.

4. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies where you live. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, they win — including any statutory right to cancel a distance contract. Our own 14-day promise in section 2 applies regardless of whether such a right is available to you.
