Terms of Service

Last updated 28 August 2026

These terms cover your use of Sky — the Sky browser extension, the Sky web dashboard at sky.skal.ai, and everything we provide through them (together, "Sky"). By creating an account or using Sky, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Sky.

Who you're contracting with. You're contracting with Sky. This page is the complete agreement for your use of Sky and for any Sky subscription. Payments are collected by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record.

1. What Sky does

Sky lets you highlight text on a web page and save it as a structured lead — name, company, role, need, and any custom fields you define. Extraction is performed by AI models running on our servers, and on paid plans each lead is scored against an ideal-customer profile you write. Leads are stored in your account and can be exported to CSV at any time. If you switch it on in Settings, Sky can also send a first-message draft you have read and confirmed, through your own LinkedIn or Slack account, into a conversation you already have open. It never sends anything on its own, and you are responsible for what you send.

Sky is a tool for organising information you choose to capture. It does not go looking for information on its own: the public-register lookups in Settings run only when you switch them on and only when you ask. It does not guarantee that any extraction, register match or score is accurate. You are responsible for checking anything you rely on. Where Sky hands your leads to somewhere else, a HubSpot you connected, a live feed link you created, or a webhook you set up, it does so only because you asked, and what happens to them there is between you and that service.

2. Your account

3. Plans, billing and payment

Sky has a free plan and paid plans. Current prices are always shown on our pricing page; at the time of writing, Pro is US$10 per month or US$96 per year, Scale is US$30 per month or US$288 per year, Max is US$100 per month or US$960 per year, and Team is arranged by contacting us.

Who takes your payment. Our payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who act as the merchant of record and reseller for all purchases of Sky. Paddle charges your payment method, issues your invoice, handles sales tax and VAT, and appears on your card statement. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

4. Plan limits and fair use

The free plan includes 50 credits per calendar month. One credit is spent when you capture a lead, when you re-score one, and when you ask Sky to draft a first message. Reading a whole page instead of a highlight costs one credit more than the highlight would, because it reads far more text. Reading a long page in full costs two credits for each section it takes, for the same reason: each section is a full page's worth of reading. A screenshot you paste in costs two credits, one of them at the moment Sky reads it, so a screenshot you discard still costs one. A page that turns up several leads charges one credit for each one you keep. Sky shows you what an action costs before you start it, and your current prices are listed in the extension under Settings. Lists and custom fields are unlimited on every plan, including free.

Every plan also carries a daily rate limit on AI actions — currently 40 a day on the free plan, 400 a day on Pro, 1,000 a day on Scale and 2,000 a day on Max, where each capture, each re-score and each section of a long page read counts as one action. First-message drafts have their own daily limit (currently 3 a day free, 60 a day paid). These limits reset every day and exist to keep the service responsive for everyone. Reading a very long page in full can use several actions in one go; Sky tells you when you reach a limit, and nothing you already captured is affected. Besides the daily limit there is a monthly limit on AI actions, currently three times your monthly credits or thirty days of the daily limit, whichever is smaller. It exists so that discarded captures, which cost no credit, cannot run without bound.

Paid plans include a stated number of credits per calendar month: currently 2,000 on Pro, 7,500 on Scale and 30,000 on Max, counted the same way as on the free plan and split however you like. Your plan's credits are a monthly allowance: nothing is charged to your card as you spend them, and whatever you don't use does not roll over into next month. Reaching your allowance pauses new captures until the month resets, and you can buy more at any time (see below). If you expect to need considerably more, contact us at hi@skal.ai and we'll sort something out rather than cut you off.

If you need more than your plan includes, a paid plan can buy extra credits. These are a one-time purchase, not a subscription: nothing recurring is created and there is nothing to cancel afterwards. At the time of writing they are sold in packs of 1,500 credits, and you can buy as many packs at once as you need up to the limit shown in your dashboard. The price is shown to you before you confirm, and you are never charged an amount you have not been shown.

Credits you buy work differently from your plan's monthly allowance, in two ways that matter:

Purchased credits count the same way as plan credits: capturing, re-scoring, drafting a first message and reading a page all draw on them identically. They require an active paid plan to use. Buying a larger plan costs less per credit than buying extra credits on a smaller one; both are always available and the choice is yours.

Going over a cap pauses new captures, re-scores and drafts for that month. We don't charge overage fees and we never bill you a surprise amount.

5. Acceptable use

Sky captures whatever you highlight, which often includes other people's personal data. That places real obligations on you. You agree that you will:

If you break these rules we may suspend or close your account. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

6. Your data and content

The leads, lists, fields and Ideal customers you create are yours. We don't claim ownership of them, we don't sell them, and we don't use them to train AI models. We process them only to provide Sky to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

To run extraction and scoring we send the text you capture to third-party AI providers acting as our processors. You can export everything to CSV at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and all its data by emailing hi@skal.ai.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Sky available and working well, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we'll tell you by email, and you may cancel and ask for a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your current period.

Sky depends on the browser it runs in and on the sites you use it on. If a site changes, capture may stop working there until we adapt.

8. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Sky and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we're required to by law, or if we discontinue Sky — in which case we'll give you reasonable notice, stop charging you, and refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.

9. Disclaimers

Sky is provided "as is". AI extraction and scoring are automated estimates and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Don't treat them as verified facts, legal advice, or a substitute for your own judgement. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or lost or inaccurate data arising from your use of Sky. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Sky is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you're a consumer, you keep all the statutory rights your local law gives you, and nothing here overrides them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll update the date above and notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sky after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates. If you're a consumer, this doesn't deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your own country of residence.
